Seek truth, and try not to fear what it tells you. It may hurt and offend, but only for the purpose of building you up. Truth is always accompanied with love, even when it is wielded by people with ill intent. Truth is always to your benefit, and even those who deliver it maliciously have betrayed themselves into doing you a kindness.

When delivering truth, always do so with kindness and good intentions. But if someone is not ready to hear, they will hate you.

A leader must operate above love or hate. They are a vector, and their position comes with direction, but the way they go about that task reveals their values. The focus of a bad leader will be on themselves at the expense of the goal and everyone around them, but a good leader will focus on others and move the whole towards success.
